The homeowners were ready to transform their unfinished basement into a more usable, inviting part of the home. The space lacked proper lighting, felt outdated and underutilized, and didn’t reflect the clean, comfortable aesthetic they envisioned. They also needed a new half bath and wanted improved airflow and livability throughout the basement.
To address the homeowners’ goals, we reimagined the entire basement with continuous luxury vinyl plank flooring to create a cohesive foundation. The layout was opened to allow for a flexible TV/lounge area, workspace, and access to the new powder room. Drywall-wrapped windows, fresh paint in a soft blue tone, and added recessed lighting made the space feel brighter and more welcoming. In the new half bath, we installed a space-saving pedestal sink and modern fixtures, all selected to blend seamlessly with the calming color palette.
The finished basement feels bright, clean, and modern—perfect for relaxing with family, tackling projects, or hosting guests. The half bath adds convenience, and the cohesive finishes throughout make the space feel like a natural extension of the home above.
