Andy started Riverside Construction in 2008 because he loves to meet new people and help them realize their remodeling dreams. He strives to creatively find ways for his clients to turn their new space into their own… something they can be proud of and enjoy for years to come. As Riverside Construction’s President, Andy identifies and implements industry best practices that improve the customer experience. His cheerful, dedicated approach builds ongoing customer relationships and a committed team. Andy has been in the building materials industry for 14 years and has a strong working knowledge of building materials, building codes, blue print reading and estimating.

Personal Side
Andy and his wife,Trisha, are the parents of four lovely children. Andy enjoys working in the community to help make people’s lives better and serving others either through his church or other community groups.

Connor helps clients reimagine their spaces and align projects with their goals from the very first conversation. He brings a thoughtful, systems-driven approach to sales, focusing on strong communication, clear expectations, and solutions that are built to last. For Connor, the remodeling process is about more than new finishes—it’s about solving problems and creating spaces that feel effortless to the client.

What he appreciates most about Riverside is the team culture—everyone is committed to doing things the right way, which makes it easy to stand behind every promise made.

Outside of work, Connor enjoys being outdoors boating, fishing, hunting, or playing golf. He also loves following real estate and design trends and spending time with his wife, Hannah, and their daughter.

A graduate from Purdue University with a BA in Interior Design, a minor in Building Construction Management and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship, Kelly is an innovative, ambitious interior designer with a laser focus on service. With 10+ years of experience, interior design is not just a career for Kelly – it’s a passion. It is her genuine care for Riverside clients and their needs that fuel her creativity—always working to fit the client’s wants and desires into her designs, when feasible.

In her free time, you can find Kelly loving on her furry friends —four friendly, adopted felines. Kelly enjoys working on home projects, cooking and baking.

Meet Casey, our Office Coordinator at Riverside Construction. Though relatively new to the remodeling business, Casey brings a blend of communication, organization, and customer service skills, always eager to incorporate new ideas into her work. What excites her most about the remodeling process are the visual transformations—capturing the journey from before to after, the detailed selections made by clients, and the progress snapshots that tell the story of a space reborn.

Personal Side
Outside the office, she‘s an avid reader and documentary watcher, enjoys cycling adventures with her husband, and has a passion for exploring antique shops. Quality time with her daughters and tending to her garden are her favorite ways to unwind. Casey’s dedication to both her family and career make her a vital part of the Riverside team.

Jennifer serves as our Office Manager. She makes sure all the paperwork on each project is organized, the bills are paid, and she handles the initial phone inquiries from those seeking more information on Riverside Construction. Jen’s great attitude, ability to work with numbers, willingness to help out, and multi-tasking skills all contribute to our efficient office operations.

“I love watching people come in with an idea about how they might like to change their home to make it more useful. I love watching them explain the problems they are facing or issues they are dealing with and then seeing how they light up as they talk about the changes they would like to make. And I love watching the project as our team takes a room apart and then creates an incredible finished product,” notes Jennifer.

Personal Side
Jennifer enjoys playing with her kids, messing with numbers, finishing a hard Sudoku puzzle, books with happy endings, laughing, and believe it or not, winter.

Pete is happy to be back with Riverside Construction as a Production Manager, having worked previously for the company as a Trades Partner, Carpenter and Project Manager. Before moving to Lafayette in 2010, Pete worked with a new homebuilder in Illinois gaining valuable experience working as a general handyman, concrete installer, tile installer, and painter. Prior to that, Pete built up quite a resume working for a wide array of residential construction companies throughout the Midwest.

Personal Side
When Pete isn’t working you’ll find him spending quality time with his wife and daughter. And, he’ll grab any opportunity he can to travel—even if it’s just a small trip with his family to the corners of Indiana. Pete is also a member of the Clear River Church in Lafayette, very much involved and committed to sharing his own spiritual gifts.

A former business owner, kitchen/bath designer, and project designer, Jill brings over 20 years’ experience navigating and interpreting the nuances of remodeling design, with a longstanding commitment to bringing homeowners’ visions to life. She also has a BA in Interior Design from Purdue.

Jill’s primary responsibilities include planning all construction operations and scheduling intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met, acquiring equipment and material, determining needed resources, and obtaining permits and licenses. Jill’s special talent is her attention to detail and her endless pursuit of efficiency.

"Every time I see the ‘after’ photos and hear that our clients were happy, I take pride in knowing that I had a little ‘behind-the-scenes’ part in making everything go smoothly. I‘ve always preferred remodeling over new construction. There’s something about making an existing space live up to its full potential. So, it’s always exciting to see the finished project come together.”

Personal Side
Jill enjoys gardening, reading, and taking pottery classes, when scheduling permits. She also collects old floor plan books and studies them like a chef would study a cookbook.

Fun Fact
Jill has been known to draft out floor plans (by hand, on a drafting table) just for fun.

As our lead designer, Aaron shows our clients the potential of their home through his design and 3-D renderings of the remodeling project. His understanding of both design and construction engineering and his attention to detail ensures all material lists and cost estimates are as complete as possible.

“I enjoy seeing how each client lives and uses their existing home and then designing it to better suit their lifestyle,” remarks Aaron. “Getting to see each project change from what the space was before to the final product and being a key part in facilitating that transformation is something that gives me a great deal of satisfaction.”

Personal Side
Aaron has an easy going nature and never seems to get rattled. He enjoys his time with his family, family vacations, computer games, music, camping, cooking and listening to podcasts.

Jesse focuses on refining systems and solving complex problems. With a background that includes CAD modeling, estimating, and working with both remodelers and home builders, he is skilled at bridging the gap between technical processes and practical execution. He enjoys helping create spaces that reflect the people who live in them, finding meaning in the connection built through that transformation.

At Riverside, Jesse values the freedom to learn and explore in ways that support the entire team. Outside of work, you’ll find him coaching and officiating wrestling, spending time with his Poodle, Trix, playing Factorio, or diving into topics like philosophy, physics, mathematics, and architecture.

Isaiah excels in his role as Project Manager at Riverside Construction, where his knack for leading projects is evident. With skills in team management, budget oversight, and construction practices, Isaiah excels in turning concepts into reality, positively impacting homeowners’ lives. He appreciates the constant influx of new and exciting projects at Riverside, which keeps his work dynamic.

Outside the office, Isaiah has a passion for travel, always ready to discover new places in the U.S. and beyond.

A Carpenter Team Lead at Riverside Construction, Micah’s expertise spans painting, demolition, and cabinetry, essential skills that contribute significantly to each project. Micah takes pride in seeing a project through from start to finish, appreciating the sense of completion. What he values most about working at Riverside is witnessing the hard work and dedication of his team. Outside of work, Micah stays active with soccer and regular gym visits, enjoying downtime with family and friends.

John is our go-to guy for siding and exterior trim, showcasing his knack for precision with every project. His journey through the remodeling realm has led him to discover that some houses are indeed held together with just a prayer, yet the challenge is what keeps him hooked. With a hint of sarcasm and a lot of skill, he treasures the camaraderie at Riverside, especially over a box of Mary Lou donuts.

Personal Side
When John steps away from the hammer and nails, he immerses himself in a good book, or ventures outdoors for hunting and fishing. His commitment to his church and family holds a special place in his heart.

With three years of remodeling experience under his belt, Caleb specializes in painting, framing, and adding those all-important finishing touches that bring a project to life. For him, the best part of remodeling is watching a space transform from the rough outline on a plan into a tangible, beautiful reality—it never gets old.‍

What Caleb Loves About Riverside‍
Caleb appreciates the sense of structure at Riverside and the chance to focus on each detail without feeling rushed. He knows that when he has time to do things properly, the end result is something he’s proud to stand behind.

Outside of Work‍
Away from the job site, Caleb’s passions include playing games, catching up on sports, and making music. He also cherishes time spent relaxing with his family—though, as a Minnesota Vikings fan, he admits they test his loyalty every season. Even so, he’s always looking forward to the next game (and hoping for the best!).

Taking an immediate interest in learning the differences in US vs. Mexican domestic architecture—casa vs. house—Marcos became enamored with residential construction. He started his career as a construction laborer and learned to hone his craft taking cues from a close mentor. After 18 years of experience, remodeling hotel rooms in downtown Chicago, doing demolitions, commercial projects and home building, Marcos is enjoying all aspects of remodeling.

Personal Side
Marcos enjoys listening to music and fishing—particularly lake fishing. When given a long weekend, he takes every opportunity to camp and play with his kids.

Well-trained and dependable carpenters are not easy to find and valuable for any building project. Riverside Construction hit the jackpot with Kevin, whose career as a carpenter started 33 years ago. In addition to working well with subcontractors, clients, and the production crew, Kevin has honed his skills as a carpenter. His specialty is finish carpentry, especially trim work, stairs, and kitchen cabinetry.

“I always strive to do the best quality work possible including making every joint edge perfectly aligned and tight. After making a living at this for 30+ years, I figure my work speaks for itself.”

Personal Side
When Kevin isn’t working, you’ll find him emersed in woodworking projects and building furniture. He also values spending quality time with his wife. They both enjoy “antiquing” together, looking for old tools in particular.

Fun Fact
Kevin is learning to use antique woodworking tools without electricity.

With a knack for painting and trim, Hunter revels in witnessing the transformation of a customer’s home from start to finish. The friendly atmosphere and the lasting relationships formed at Riverside are what Hunter cherishes the most.

Hunter is an outdoorsman at heart, enjoying hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Off the clock, he treasures family time and adventures with his faithful dog, Luna.

Cam brings a well-rounded set of remodeling skills to every job, from framing and finish carpentry to more specialized work like concrete forms, roofing, and even structural reinforcement. What he finds most rewarding is guiding a project from outdated or underutilized to fresh, functional, and customized—seeing a homeowner’s vision become reality fuels his passion for the craft.

Hobbies & Life Outside of Work
Away from the job site, Cam pours his creativity into playing guitar and piano, and he’s always up for exploring the outdoors—even practicing survival skills on occasion. With woodworking as a personal hobby, he’s never short on hands-on projects. Above all, Cam enjoys connecting with others in meaningful ways—whether it’s swapping music tips, hiking new trails, or simply catching up with friends and family.

Matthew is a Carpenter at Riverside Construction with a wide range of hands-on skills, including framing, trim work, drywall, painting, and demolition. He enjoys seeing how each project progresses from start to finish and finds satisfaction in the steady rhythm of the remodeling process. For Matthew, one of the best parts of working at Riverside is the conversations he gets to have with coworkers and clients, along with the reward of seeing a job well done.

Outside of work, he stays active with skiing, lifting, basketball, and soccer, and values time spent at the gym or with friends and family.
