Project Description (Problem/Solution/Results)

Remodeling Need

Close collaboration between the design team, homeowners, and the contractor led to the beautiful custom features in this ¾ bath remodel.

The homeowners knew their bathroom needed a makeover. They were ready to bring their bathroom into the 21st century seeking help from Riverside Construction to fix a leaky shower, replace a window, and make the room feel less cramped.

Remodeling Solution

The collaborative team at Riverside designed a solution that involved removing the wall that divided the shower and toilet area, which immediately made the bathroom feel more open and spacious. The dark cave-like shower was transformed with a frameless Kohler wide sliding door and large gray matte porcelain tile. Special touches include a shower niche finished with a Sand River Pebble mosaic tile and a custom shower bench.

The dark-stained vanity was pulled and replaced with contemporary red oak cabinetry stained in a neutral gray and topped with vein platinum cultured marble.

Additional updates include:

    • A new window and trim
    • Delta stainless steel fixtures
    • An oversized mirrored medicine cabinet
    • Luxury vinyl tile flooring
