Riverside is currently looking for an experienced project consultant, project manager and estimator.
As we near the end of the year please make sure to get your requests for vacation days in! Both divisions are currently scheduling work for the times around both Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you would like to take extra time off close to those times of the year, please get your vacation requests in sooner rather than later. Vacations are approved on a 1st come, 1st served basis. Specifically, we do need to know if you are planning on taking off the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or the rest of the week after New Years Day.
As a reminder, vacation does not roll over to the next year if not used UNLESS you are within your 1st year at Riverside. Later on in the newsletter are reminders of what days are paid holidays for employees and what days the company is not open. All employees will receive documentation of their vacation time remaining early October (or sooner if you request it from Jen!)
We listen to understand, clarify for accuracy, and respond promptly out of care and respect.
Great current examples of how this is being done:
Riverside customer Aaron Baker recently commented in his review "We were always well informed and had great communication start to finish".
Project Consultants documenting in detail customer goals and desires for their upcoming project.
Office employees and Project managers communicating on Teams to document job information in one place.
HCR field technicians reaching out to Joel, Connor and Brian to make sure all the information on the job is collected and the next appointment to continue the work gets scheduled.
Cold and flu season is right around the corner. Don't forget all full time employees who have worked for more than 90 days have 16 hours of sick time to use! Any hours that don't get used by the end of the year expire. A new set of 16 hours is available starting January 1st.
With a knack for painting and trim, Hunter revels in witnessing the transformation of a customer’s home from start to finish. The friendly atmosphere and the lasting relationships formed at Riverside are what Hunter cherishes the most.

Sorry! 2 groaners for this month:
Not all construction work is equally enjoyable. - For instance, drilling a large hole is boring, but fastening two pieces of metal together is riveting.
What was the under-appreciated, often-exploited kitchen contractor's complaint? "I'm always taken for granite!"
