Trades spotlight

True Spark is a new company that has started working with us. We've been excited to see the great job that they do helping our customers with their electrical needs. If you see the True Spark team, take a minute to thank them!

Core Value Focus:

Communication

We listen to understand, clarify for accuracy, and respond promptly (within 8 business hours) out of care and respect.

Communication is truely a key to being a successful company. Weather it's a customer calling Home Care and Repair or Riverside Construction, our ability to listen to what they need and translate that information to the field crews or technicians is the key to happy customers.

This is so important that Mr. Williams called it out in his Riverside google review: "The communication given every step of the project was timely and informative."

Heather called communication out in her Home Care and Repair review as well: "We have worked with them a few times. They are always well communicative, respectful, kind, clean, and do excellent work."

Examples of this:

Casey and Zane actively listening to our customers are they answer the phones to make sure we understand what they need.

Andy and Kelly presenting what we do in our remodeling workshops to prepare our customers for what they will experience.

Field techs reaching out to Joel and Zane to review estimates or update them on to keep them aware of their progress in the field.

Jaron reaching out to Kelly to make sure he is using accurate information to communicate clearly what we did for our customers when updating our website.

Staff using the Teams chats to document information on materials, job status and asking and answering questions to help us do the best job we can for our customers.

Carpenters and Project Managers uploading pictures and job logs into JobTread allowing customer and staff to see the details of what's going on at the jobsite.

Why It Matters: The Value of Profit Sharing Sooner

This change is about more than just frequency. It’s based on a simple financial truth:

Money you receive sooner is worth more than money you receive later.

Why?

  • You can save or invest earlier taking advantage of the power of compounding interest.
  • You can use it when you need it — for bills, debt, or personal goals.
  • It keeps your hard work and rewards more closely connected.

Our goal: More Motivating, More Fair

  • More immediate recognition for your contribution
  • Smaller, regular payouts that help with your financial planning
  • Encourages all of us to stay focused and aligned all year long

Work/Life Balance Tip

Looking for ways to improve your personal life and the next morning at work? Create a shutdown ritual!

  • At the end of your workday, create a simple routine to signal to your brain that work is over. This might mean doing things like documenting what you did on your timecard, dropping off your receipts, closing your laptop, writing a quick to-do list for the next day, and stepping away from your workspace. This helps you mentally switch gears, reduces the urge to keep checking emails or work texts, and makes it easier to be fully present in your personal time.
  • Consistency is key—treat this ritual like any other important meeting.
