Fall is quickly approaching. With the seasons changing we're finding that some of the work we're doing is changing too. What doesn't change is the impact you have on our customers. We continue to get great reviews from customers. You are having an impact on their quality of life and it is not going unnoticed. Thank you for taking care of our customers.

In the last couple of months, we've had a number of pretty significant staffing changes. Each of these people had special gifts and talents that they shared with us and our customers. They will be missed as they transition to their new roles in various places. We do feel like we've found some incredibly skilled people to fill a few of the vacant positions. We're excited to see how the additional staff we find brings new ideas, perspectives and talents that help us manage the increase in work that we anticipate soon. It's been exciting to watch how people transitioning out of roles has served as a catalyst for internal growth, allowing some of our existing team members to take on new responsibilities, develop their skills, and advance in their roles. We're excited to watch this natural and necessary part of organizational evolution—one that encourages adaptability, fosters leadership, and drives long-term improvement.
MC Gutter Solutions (formerly The Gutter Group) is a company we've been working with since the beginning. Matt Akers and his team do a great job of adding gutters and downspouts to our projects and giving us good feedback on what will help our customers the most. If you see the MC Gutter Solution team, take a minute to thank them!
We strive to maintain an intentionally optimistic attitude, prioritizing a "how can I help" approach to meeting the needs of others.
One of the key pieces to our success is being intentional about trying to maintain a positive attitude. Each of us individually working on having a positive attitude impacts customers and coworkers alike. It's rarely easy when things go wrong, but if you can manage to keep your attitude positive it helps keep the customer in a better frame of mind and makes your job easier! For most people it's much harder to be angry at someone with a positive attitude than someone who is already grumpy.
Here are some examples:
Casey and Zane sometimes need to take phone calls from frustrated customers. Instead of complaining about having to deal with things that aren't their fault, they try to find someone to help the customer and get the customer the best possible scenario.
Something goes wrong on a job - instead of blaming someone else, take a second, think about potential solutions (or reach out to someone who has different experience than you for suggestions) and take a step forward to fix the problem.
Just a reminder if you currently have health insurance the 1st date to update/renew your plan is NOVEMBER 3rd! We know that advising sessions filled up fast last year, sign up early to get your spot (Ideally by the 14th)!
In the next week we're hoping to get documentation about our benchmark plan for 2026. The benchmark plan would cost you as an individual aproxomately $300 a month. Riverside construction will increase your pay to make sure that you pay no more than that for that specific plan.
As a reminder you do not have to select that plan if it doesn't meet your needs. You can choose whatever plan you want! The amount that Riverside would cover for the benchmark plan is yours to spend on any plan you want to choose. We choose a plan in the middle that we felt did a pretty good job of covering a wide assortment of things. However if you do not want to spend that much out of pocket there are plans that cost much less - to the point where you may pay only a minimal amount pocket each month!
RemodelHealth also offers vision and dental plans that can be added to a regular plan to cover a portion of your vision or dental care.
There will be at least one full company meeting about this in the next month and you can always come talk to Jen about any questions you might have!
