Bathroom Trends for 2011

Every year the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) conducts a survey of 100 different contractors for the last three months of 2010.  These are the changes they noticed in their survey.

1.  Quartz counters are gaining-  While most people still choose Granite countertops in their bathrooms, Quartz countertops have been making steady gains. (This is a picture of one of Cambria’s Quartz counters.)

2.  Green color palettes are in-  Blue color palettes have been pushed to the second place by Green!

3.  Vessel Sinks- Under mount sinks are still the most common, but vessel sinks have made dramatic gains in popularity.

4.  Satin Nickel Faucets-  In both Kitchens and Bathrooms, Satin Nickel faucets continue to be the top faucets.
